A penile prosthesis can be placed when medications or vascular surgery does not help resolve erectile dysfunction, or when these medications or types of surgeries are contraindicated, objectionable or predicted to be useless. Before the surgery to place a penile prosthesis, Penile Colour Doppler Ultrasonography is performed to determine the blood flow in the penis and blood parameters are tested.

Penile Prosthesis Implantation

Penile prosthesis implantation is a surgery that is used to treat severe impotence (ED). It includes applying medical devices to the penis to allow erection which is happened mechanically. The surgery is performed under general or spinal anesthesia, along with the personalized method that your surgeon would decide before the surgery day. Laser endoscopic calculus crushing is a procedure that is used to eliminate problems related to kidney or urinary tract stones. The laser fiber is inserted through the endoscope to break kidney or urinary tract stones.  This method is mostly used in less complicated cases that don’t require surgery, but it differs from patient to patient. In addition to them, it’s mostly chosen because of the lower risk of complications.

Laser Kidney Calculus Surgery

When the laser endoscopic calculus crushing may not give the desired result in some cases. Therefore, some kind of these situations requires laser kidney calculus surgery. The procedure starts with a ureteroscope inserted through the stone locations but mostly through the urethra and bladder. Different from other procedures, the short laser energy lines directly crash the stones.

Percutaneous

The word percutaneous refers to a procedure that is applied through the skin without any traditional incision. The incisions in percutaneous are small when compared to the traditional ones. This incision method also helps to decrease the complication rate.

The percutaneous method is generally applied through image scanning such as ultrasound. It has different and various procedures that can be decided by the surgeon by examining the patient’s condition.

Laser Endoscopic Ureter Calculus Surgery

Laser endoscopic ureter calculus surgery or laser lithotripsy is an invasive procedure that is used to treat stones in the ureter area. A flexible ureteroscope is used to access the area when compared to the traditional one. Being flexible gives the ureteroscope more easily access.

After locating the stone or stones, laser energy lines are sent through the area to break them.

It starts with making small incisions and continues by introducing carbon dioxide gas. By using the flexible laparoscopy instrument, the areas can be seen by the camera to remove the tumor.

Laser And Plasma Kinetic Treatment In Prostate Growth

This kind of treatment is used to reduce prostate growth and eliminating urinary symptoms and complications caused by the prostate gland. Generally, two methods are used in the treatment

  • Laser Treatment: This treatment includes the removal or vaporizes the prostate tissue that blocks the urinary pathway. Different types of laser lines are used.
  • Plasma Kinetic Treatment: This is a method that includes radiofrequency energy that is applied to the electrode which forms the plasma.

Laser Bladder Cancer And Calculus Surgery

It’s a minimally invasive surgical technique that is used to treat bladder cancer and bladder stones. It helps to destroy cancerous tissue within the bladder. The laser allows precise tissue removal so that the rate of success can increase during and after the surgery while reducing the complication risks. This method provides improved treatment for patients.
